Partnership ~ an ESL core value

11 Oct 2018

In December 1993, as the Dakin family assembled in London to celebrate Dorothy’s birthday it was announced that having witnessed the independent success of her husband and sons,  Dorothy was to launch a new, her first, business.

Her eldest son, in the midst of an MBA offered some sound commercial advice; in fact over the course of the evening and in turn each family member did.

Much of that advice about market segmentation, cash flow and marketing was contradictory, but on one thing the males of the family were in agreement. The organisation should reflect its unique selling point and thus would be known as the Dorothy Dakin Staffing Agency.  Shortly thereafter, each of us were reminded delicately of our positive attributes but reminded that we knew little if anything about the world of Staffing and Recruitment.

As was her vision, Dorothy was clear. For her new organisation to succeed the name must reflect the importance of schools, teachers and the relationship between them; success for all relied upon success for each individual stakeholder; it would be a partnership in everything including the name.

And so it came to pass that Education Staffing Link was formed to reflect our emphasis on collaboration, cooperation, consensus and the achievement of overall and mutually shared goals. Today we summarise that ingrained ethos as partnership.   A partnership between Education Staffing Link Limited, schools and teachers to provide a positive impact on pupils learning.  The principle has not changed or how we conduct our affairs.

The academic year has commenced and we remain, resourced, equipped and committed to working with schools in partnership, to resolve any human resource challenge.

Whilst much has changed within the field of education; children continue to deserve the best. Without the contribution and support of our supply team we are unable to help schools achieve their aims and expectations.

For some, the start of the school year has not developed as they had hoped, please rest assure that the ESL office team remain poised and prepared to help schools and their pupils.

Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all team members to share in and support this commitment.

Committed to Equal Opportunities in Employment and positively welcome your application irrespective of your gender, race, disability, colour, ethnic or national origin, marital status, religion or age.
