ESL Welcomes work experience student

17 Jul 2015

ESL was joined by Mr Edwin Saunders, a pupil of Turves Green Boys' School, between the 13th and 17th July 2015 for a period of work experience.

As an SME, Education Staffing Link (ESL) gave and Edwin seized, the opportunity to look at many of the disciplines that would be found in a larger organisation. Edwin was given oversight and experience of the following:

Customer Service
Compliance
Interviewing
Recruitment and Selection
Commercial Social Media
Marketing
Business Administration

A major element of his placement was to complete a marketing project which involved analysing the market place; identifying competitors and comparing the websites, twitter feeds and time lines with those of ESL.

In a short period of time Edwin has made a very positive impact on work colleagues.

Jonathan Dakin, Managing Director of ESL said “Edwin’s approach to work has been excellent and a credit to his family and school. He has an excellent work ethic and I predict a bright future”.

ESL is keen to support students undergoing work experience. Should you consider that ESL is an organisation who may offer your student or child an insight into the work place do not hesitate in making contact.
