ESL has been selected by the Diocesan Education Team of the Church of England in Birmingham as a strategic partner and the preferred provider of qualified supply teachers and teaching assistants to the church and church affiliated schools that they represent throughout Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.



  • shares, supports and puts into practice the vision and ambition of the Church of England in Birmingham for Church Schools.
  • is able to supply well supported and effective supply teachers and teaching assistants to schools throughout the Diocese in both the short and medium term.
  • develops a pool of highly skilled professionals.
  • shares responsibility with the Diocesan Education Team to support in the redeployment of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
