June news 2026

Well June was a scorcher which saw some school closures and very hot classrooms. Our team are so flexible during these periods and we really appreciate their commitment and professionalism.

We were proud to get the result from the Fair Work Agency (FWA) who visited us for an inspection in May. The FWA is a UK enforcement body that works to protect workers’ rights, support fair competition, and ensure that private recruitment agencies comply with employment law.

Our inspection formed part of a targeted campaign focused on education recruitment businesses across Birmingham. During the visit, FWA officers reviewed our practices, procedures and records to assess compliance with the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

We are delighted to share that we were found to be fully compliant and met all requirements of the FWA. Safeguarding and compliance sit at the heart of what we do and are two of our core values. We set high standards for ourselves and remain committed to delivering a service that reflects best practice across the recruitment industry.

Achieving this outcome is a reflection of the care, professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated across the team.

We have been out and about towards the end of the month delivering academic calendars and bits and pieces to our client schools and prospective schools. It’s always nice to see our regular schools to have a catch up and it was lovely to hear how much they appreciate our teachers and teaching assistants and what a good job they do. We will be sending calendars out to our supply team imminently.

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are focusing on different avenues to attract new teachers and teaching assistants so look out for us on social media but please continue to recommend us to other people you know, we really appreciate it!
