As the academic year draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to wish you an enjoyable, well deserved summer break. Thank you on behalf of all at ESL for your hard work and support this term. We hope to speak to you over the holidays to establish your availability and requirements for the next academic year. We want to work in partnership with you and our client schools so will be in touch if any schools approach us with requirements for September.
We are corporate members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation ensuring we meet the highest standards within the recruitment industry. All our compliance checks are in accordance with the latest employment and safeguarding regulations. Over the holidays we will be reviewing all our safeguarding and completing our annual compliance checks.
DBS
We will be checking the status of your DBS to ensure that you are linked to the update service. If your DBS is not linked, then we will contact you to arrange completion of another DBS.
Evidence of Identity
One element of our compliance is photographic identity checks; we require sight of either a passport or driving licence (photo ID). We will be checking the documents we hold on file and should we discover it has or will shortly expire, we will be in touch to ask for an up-to-date copy.
Teacher Regulations Agency
When joining ESL we complete a check with the Teacher Regulations Agency. This check is required annually and will be checked over the break.
Online Search Record
In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, online search records will be undertaken for all supply team members annually. This aims to identify any incidents or issues that have happened and are publicly available online.
Annual Safeguarding Training
To comply with Keeping Children Safe in Education all team members must complete annual training. We will be emailing you asking you to indicate whether you wish to register for online training arranged by ESL or have completed this with another school or provider. We would ask that evidence of completion be provided.

Term time hours will resume on Monday 1st September at 7am, the first day of term, our term time opening hours are 7am-6pm.
