July 2024 news
As we draw to the end of another academic year, we are all ready for a bit of a rest and looking forward to summer.
We have said goodbye to a few of our long standing team members this month which is always bittersweet, we wish them well in their exciting new endeavours but we will miss them, we really do build up a strong rapport with our supply team and miss the chats and interactions. We’ve had some lovely feedback from them which we’d like to share.
From one of our KS1 teachers:
“It has been confirmed now officially that I was successful in my job application and I have a full time teaching job. So I will now be teaching Year 1 and going back into teaching for the first time in 7 years!
I cannot thank you all enough for the support and the lovely school placements you have provided me with to help build my confidence again and help me to love my job. I always recommend ESL to anyone who asks me about supply.
I have really enjoyed working for you and if I ever go back into supply you will be the first agency I call.”
One of our teaching assistants, who’s moving away sent us these words:
“I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to have worked for such a lovely agency as ESL. You have all been so Professional, Efficient and Caring. Of all the Agencies I’ve worked with your Morals and Ethics have been above and beyond. I would highly recommend ESL.
I hope ESL continues to go from strength to strength.”
Another primary teacher shared the following:
“I am writing to inform you I would like to retire from teaching with effect from today. I would also like to thank you for all the work you have found me over the many years I have worked for you. I have gathered some lovely memories along the way.
I wish you all a bright and happy future. Thank you.”
All the best to those teachers and teaching assistants.
It’s been another busy year, we have enjoyed some 30 year celebrations including a team trip to see Hamilton and a few lovely meals out.
We have taken on some new client schools and supply team members and we continue to build at a steady rate.
Our focus remains on primary schools in Birmingham and the surrounding areas and the roles we cover for supply are Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Senco, lunchtime supervisors and school leaders.
We look forward to the next academic year.
