ESL awarded coveted Recruitment and Employment Education Status

27 May 2016

We are very pleased to confirm that we have been awarded industry accolade ‘REC Audited for Education’ Status.

Safeguarding champions REC – the Recruitment and Employment Confederation – only award the status when they are absolutely confident that agencies are carrying out the relevant checks when recruiting teachers and non-teaching staff.

ESL were the first Midlands company to be awarded the REC Audited for Education status in November 2013.

Jonathan Dakin, ESL Managing Director. “This comprehensive audit is not just about compliance with education legislation but shows that we operate best practice in all areas such as customer service, staff development, diversity and client management. All of our office and supply team want to provide the best possible service to Birmingham Schools and their pupils”.

We are a family business, with a skilled office team that take pride in providing a high quality supply service which is personal, flexible and reliable. It seeks to achieve this through developing life time relationships with integrity, partnership and safeguarding at the core of the business.

We are really proud; this status goes right to the heart of providing schools, parents, pupils and governors with the best service possible.  This accolade provides clients with the confidence and assurance that ESL adhere to the highest standards within the recruitment industry and education sector.

REC chief executive Kevin Green congratulated ESL saying: “By undertaking this specialist audit recruiters are measuring themselves against the highest industry standards.  The success of REC Audited Education is ensuring best practice within agencies and ensures we continually improve the standard of teachers placed within our schools.”
